Ganfeng Lithium to Build a New Lithium Battery Production and Manufacturing Base with an Annual Output of 30GWh

SHANGHAI, Sep 29 (SMM) - Ganfeng Lithium announced that the company and the Yichun Municipal Government recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The two parties will jointly build an entire industry chain from the development of lithium resources, lithium battery materials, and new lithium batteries, to battery applications. The company has invested in the construction of a new lithium battery production and manufacturing base with an annual output of 30GWh in the Yichun Economic and Technological Development Zone; a lithium metal project with an annual output of 7,000 mt; a comprehensive utilisation project for mining and selecting battery-grade lithium salt and lithium ore with an annual output of 50,000 mt in Fengxin County; and a lithium hydroxide project with an annual output of 50,000 mt in Fengcheng city. The Yichun Municipal Government will make every effort to guarantee the company's raw material needs and will release the ROM resources in Yichun promptly according to the actual progress of the project construction.
