Beijing Express (601908) announced on the evening of January 7 that the company's subsidiaries Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology and Wuxi Rongneng Semiconductor newly signed a long single sales framework contract for monocrystalline silicon wafers totaling 8.95 billion yuan. Just on the 23rd of last month, Jingyun just announced a newly signed sales order for single crystal silicon wafers totaling 7.836 billion yuan. This means that in just half a month, the company's newly signed orders have exceeded the company's total revenue of 2.057 billion yuan in 2019 by more than 7 times, verifying the current industry situation of photovoltaic expansion in full swing.
According to the announcement, Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has signed a "Silicon Wafer Purchasing Framework contract" with Tongwei Solar Energy, which plans to purchase 960 million single crystal silicon wafers from Wuxi Jingyuntong Technology Co., Ltd. from January 2021 to December 2023, with a total sales amount of about 5.261 billion yuan (including tax). At the same time, Jiangsu Runyang Yueda Photovoltaic plans to purchase 946 million single crystal silicon wafers from Wuxi Rongneng Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Beijing Express, from January 2021 to December 2023, with a total sales amount of about 3.689 billion yuan (including tax).
Industry insiders pointed out that the four orders recently announced by Jing Yun Tong sold a total of 3.94 billion monocrystalline silicon wafers. According to the current generating power of about 4.5W of monocrystalline silicon wafers, the total production capacity required for the above orders is about 18GW. Corresponding to its three-year contract period, the annual capacity required is about 6GW. According to Jingyun's quarterly report last year, the company's new material industrial park project in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia, designed silicon material production capacity of 5GW/ years, which has been gradually released since it was put into mass production in mid-2019. Relevant people pointed out that, taking into account the subsequent expansion of the project and the improvement of technology and technology, it should be no problem to meet the current order production.
Analysts here also pointed out that Jingyun Tong is actively expanding production. In June last year, the company first planned to raise 2.5 billion yuan to expand the production of 10GW high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon rods in Wuhai, and then announced in November last year that it planned to invest 7 billion yuan to expand the production of 24GW monocrystalline silicon products in Leshan. If the announced project is fully up to production, the company's wafer production capacity will reach more than 39GW, becoming the first square enterprise of domestic wafer production capacity.
