LONDON (Scrap Register): European Union scrap exports to Turkey shot up by 51% year-on-year to 793,000 tons during March this year, as per the latest official data.
According to statistics, European Union total scrap exports advanced sharply by 52.1% year-on-year to 1.582 million tons during March, and up by 16.8% month-on-month.
European Union total scarp exports gained by 10.2% year-on-year to 3.884 million tons during the first three months of this year.
However, the European Union monthly average scrap export was 1.295 million tons and estimated an annual export volume of 15.53 million tons.
