SHANGHAI, Jan. 18 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.52 million tonnes last week, down 300,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.
SMM attributes the decline in ore inventories mainly to falling arrivals of goods and pick-ups by NPI producers near the Port of Lianyungang.
Last week, two ships arrived at the Port of Lianyungang and one ship went to the Port of Jingtang, bringing 3 ships in total arrivals.
