SHANGHAI, Sept. 30 (SMM) – LME lead prices opened at USD 1,655/mt on Tuesday, then fell to USD 1,646/mt. During European trading session, LME lead prices fluctuated around USD 1,660/mt, and closed at USD 1,665/mt, up USD 1.5/mt. Trading volumes were down 619 to 3,905 lots, and total positions fell 138 to 122,826. LME lead inventories decreased 450 to 164,125 mt.
SHFE 1511 lead contract prices opened at RMB 13,200/mt, with the high-end of the price range RMB 13,270/mt, and closed at RMB 13,245/mt, up RMB 185/mt.
LME lead prices are expected to move between USD 1,650-1,675/mt today. SHFE 1511 lead contract prices will hover between RMB 13,180-13,300/mt, with spot prices between RMB 13,300-13,450/mt.
