SHANGHAI, Apr. 21 (SMM) – Coal-electricity-aluminum-processing industry is springing up in coal-rich Inner Mongolia, local media reported.

For example, 3 million-tpy aluminum plate, strip and foil project, 1.8 million-tpy high-strength aluminum alloy and 2 million-tpy continuous casting aluminum plate, strip and foil project have settled in Huolingol, Inner Mongolia.

Local aluminum processors produce directly from aluminum liquid, which helps reduce costs by 400 yuan ($65)/tonne.
