Publicado: Aug 26, 2026 15:16

The 18th typhoon of this year, "Shaduer", was gradually approaching the coast of Zhejiang, with winds continuing to intensify. The Zhoushan Maritime Safety Administration of Zhejiang activated a Level II typhoon emergency response at 20:00 on August 25, fully entering a state of typhoon defense operations. Since the activation of a Level III typhoon emergency response at 08:00 on August 24, targeted measures were implemented in key islands such as Liuheng, Shengsi, and Putuo Mountain. At Liuheng's Sha'ao Pier, safety inspections of passenger vessels were conducted during the window period before the suspension; Shengsi coordinated inter-island transport capacity to evacuate passengers in batches; Putuo Mountain dynamically optimized schedules and strengthened passenger flow management and dock duty. As of 14:00 on August 26, nearly 100,000 passengers had been evacuated from the islands cumulatively. All 72 water passenger routes in the Zhoushan area were suspended.
