SMM learned that a data center in South China released 20 RTX 5090 eight-card servers, PCIe 5.0 specification, with a monthly rent of 13,000 yuan per unit, an open-ended contract, and first-hand data center resources with no intermediary. SMM believes that the 5090 model continues to be leased out on an open-ended basis, and the supply side tends to retain pricing flexibility amid rising complete machine prices.

SMM learned that a supplier in South China released rental resources for 30 RTX 4090 (24G) servers at a monthly rent of 7,500 yuan per unit under a one-year contract. The supply is a first-hand resource directly connected to the data center, with no intermediaries. SMM believes that first-hand supply directly connected to the data center can reduce intermediary markups and provide greater pricing flexibility for bulk lessees.
