Domestic Aluminum Rod Inventory Decreases by 0.2 Million Tons, Total at 106,500 Tons

[SMM Aluminum Alloy Daily Review] Futures side, the most-traded aluminum alloy 2608 futures contract opened at 23,140 yuan/mt today, closing at 23,500 yuan/mt, up 450 yuan from the previous settlement price, a daily gain of 1.95%. Spot side, ADC12 prices overall held up well today. Most enterprises raised their quotes by 100 yuan/mt, and some subsequently followed futures to increase prices by another 100-200 yuan/mt. Under the dual effects of rising costs and tightening supply, enterprises showed a notably stronger willingness to increase prices. ADC12 prices still had room for further upward movement in the short term. Going forward, close attention should be paid to policy changes, aluminum scrap circulation, and downstream purchase pace.

Dongxing City in Fangchenggang joined hands with Jiangsu Wotu Intelligent Transportation Technology Co., Ltd. to hold a signing ceremony for the Fangchenggang V-Process EPC Aluminum Alloy Integrated Two-Wheeler High-End Equipment Production Site project. It is understood that the first phase of the project will renovate existing factory buildings in the industrial park and plans to establish specialized production lines for new national standard e-bikes and electric motorcycles to rapidly advance production and operations. The second phase plans to construct new production facilities, office buildings, and employee dormitories to build an integrated modern smart manufacturing industrial park.

Qiya Guizhou Group's fine alumina project achieved a significant milestone, with the first 200,000 mt production line officially commencing operations on May 30. It is understood that the project has a planned total annual capacity of 800,000 mt, and the entire project is expected to be completed by 2027.
