The spot copper market in Shandong remained sluggish in trading activity this week, with spot premiums weakening further WoW. Although the center of copper prices pulled back somewhat during the week, prices continued to fluctuate at highs. Downstream demand remained persistently weak, and suppliers lowered their spot quotes to facilitate shipments, but actual transactions were still unsatisfactory.
