China's Bismuth Trioxide Exports in April Slightly Declined Compared to March [SMM Data]

Published: May 20, 2026 13:16

According to customs data, China's bismuth trioxide exports in April 2026 were 898.429 mt, compared to 1,100.233 mt in March 2026, continuing to decline MoM and falling back below the 1,000 mt level again. From the overall change in exports, China's bismuth oxide exports showed an upward trend almost every month since September 2025, indicating that bismuth oxide enterprises maintained strong export enthusiasm and ex-China demand was also increasing notably. Although April exports declined slightly, the magnitude was relatively small, and compared to January and February exports, the upward trend continued. Market participants believe that as Q2 begins and the international market enters its peak season, China's bismuth trioxide exports are very likely to continue to increase in May.
