Zhejiang Haowei Auto Body Integrated Structural Parts Project Enters Pre-Production Preparation Stage

[SMM News] According to reports, Zhejiang Haowei Auto Parts Co., Ltd.'s large die-casting machines are currently in the installation and commissioning stage. The company's 1.8 million-set annual NEV auto body integrated structural parts project is currently in the critical period of equipment installation and commissioning, and plans to gradually commence production in June 2026. Related production equipment has been arriving on-site successively, with overall project progress approximately 30% complete. This year, the foundry workshop will deploy 16 large casting machines, paired with over 100 processing equipment units, and is expected to form an annual capacity of 600,000 battery pack casings by year-end.

[SMM Aluminum Alloy Daily Review] Futures side, the most-traded aluminum alloy 2606 contract opened at 23,560 yuan/mt today, dipped to a low of 23,470 yuan/mt during the session, then rebounded in a volatile manner to a high of 23,675 yuan/mt, and closed at 23,635 yuan/mt before noon, up 125 yuan/mt or 0.53% from the previous closing price.
