[SMM PV News] Australia’s MyNu Energy Unveils Mobile Solar-Battery System to Replace Diesel Generators

Published: Apr 13, 2026 16:39
Australian energy provider MyNu Energy has launched the PowerQub-M, a trailer-mounted solar and battery storage system designed to replace traditional diesel generators. The mobile unit combines a 3 kW demountable solar array with battery options ranging from 60 kWh to 240 kWh, delivering power outputs between 25 kVA and 160 kVA. MyNu co-founder Shaun Nugent highlighted that the system is built for rapid deployment in remote or temporary environments, such as construction sites, farms, and disaster recovery zones. By repurposing second-life EV batteries, the PowerQub-M offers businesses a reliable, fuel-independent power source that significantly reduces both noise and carbon emissions compared to diesel-based alternatives.
