Zijin Mining 2025 Report: Zinc Output Down, Smelting Up, Bisha and Wulagen Mines Plan Increased Production

According to Polaris Power Network, on March 27, China Southern Power Grid launched the first batch of tenders for information technology projects in 2026. A total of 5 lots and 24 packages were involved, including 15 system construction projects, 2 special research projects, 5 business support projects, and 2 equipment procurement projects.

According to BJX.com.cn, Guiyang Power Supply Bureau’s first batch of distribution network construction projects planned for 2026 totaled 523 projects, all of which were AC projects, including 174.19 km of new 10(20) kV lines, 316 distribution transformers, distribution transformer capacity of 100,905 kVA, and 279.69 km of low-voltage lines.

According to BJX.com.cn, the Shaanxi-Henan ±800 kV UHV DC transmission project received approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). The project has a total investment of 19 billion yuan, transmission capacity of 8 million kW, and supporting coal power and new energy projects. The project plans to build a new sending-end converter station with a conversion capacity of 8 million kW using conventional DC technology; a new receiving-end converter station with a conversion capacity of 8 million kW using flexible DC technology; and one new ±800 kV DC transmission line with a length of 728 km. The overall project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2028.
