On March 26, the People's Government of Anhui Province issued the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Anhui Province (Anhui Government [2026] No. 18). It is mentioned that the construction and commissioning of the Shaanxi-Anhui DC project will promote the approval and start of the project to send electricity from the Inner Mongolia desert base to East China.It is reported that the Shaanxi-Anhui ± 800 kV UHV DC transmission project ("Shaanxi-Anhui DC") starts at the Taibao Mountain Converter Station in Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province.
