Mar 23 - According to a research report published by Swiss scientists in the latest issue of Nature, they have ingeniously combined perovskite and silicon materials to create a novel "sandwich" structured solar cell. The bottom layer of this cell is silicon-based, while perovskite thin films are deposited on the middle and top layers. Its photoelectric conversion efficiency has reached an impressive 30.02%, far exceeding the previous certified record of 27.1%.

Mar 20 - A symposium on two mandatory national standards, "Safety Requirements for PV Modules" and "Nameplate Identification Requirements for PV Modules," was held in Beijing on Mar 19 to advance their formulation and implementation. Xiong Jijun, Vice Minister of MIIT, delivered a speech. The meeting stressed that PV manufacturers must strengthen standard guidance and safety supervision. State-owned power generators should optimize bidding mechanisms, benchmark standards early in procurement, and prioritize safety. All parties must collaborate to drive the PV industry from "scale-leading" to "value-leading," fostering safe and reliable competition, and solidifying national energy security.

Wan Jinsong, Deputy Director of the NEA, stated that during the "15th Five-Year Plan", China will actively promote diverse clean energy sources, including wind, photovoltaics (PV), nuclear, and biomass, building a resilient new energy system with multi-energy complementarity. China will also drive the deep integration of energy and digital revolutions.
