Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 25, iMotion Technology ("iMotion") inaugurated its new global headquarters, marking a significant milestone in the company's development. The event also featured a technology showcase, where the company unveiled several cutting-edge achievements, including advanced robotics controllers, an end-to-end urban driving assistance system, and a 5G smart manufacturing base. The company also introduced new production-ready products in the fields of assisted driving and embodied intelligence, demonstrating its progressive "technology-product-scenario" development path.

Under its vision of applying artificial intelligence in real-world scenarios, iMotion has developed a comprehensive infrastructure that includes an automated development toolchain, a data-closed-loop R&D system, and a 5G smart manufacturing base. This foundation supports in-depth exploration, validation, iteration, and practical deployment of frontier technologies. The company's work spans the entire "algorithm-data-manufacturing" link, enabling it to push the boundaries of intelligent solutions in various industries.

iMotion's latest breakthroughs include its fully self-developed end-to-end urban driving assistance solution, which is now entering mass production testing. Additionally, its embodiment intelligence model, the IRVLA 100, has passed validation for robot charging scenarios.

iMotion's previous technological investments are now yielding tangible rewards. By the end of September this year, iMotion secured 34 new mass-production project designations. Notably, the company also marked a milestone by obtaining its first mass-production contract with a major automotive manufacturer in South China.

In the field of embodied intelligence, iMotion has introduced the iRC100, a robotic controller based on a domestically-produced core chipset. This controller has been successfully delivered to its customers, while several custom robotic arms developed by the company have also been selected for projects.

In terms of software, iMotion's robotics team has implemented a robot data-closed-loop system, running the VLA (Visual-Language-Action) model's ACT Policy algorithm on the D-Robotics S100P embodied intelligence platform. This has enabled the system to run smoothly on the SO-101 robotic arm from Hugging Face.

As part of its ongoing efforts to optimize large-scale mass production solutions, iMotion has unveiled several new AI-powered advancements in assisted driving, embodied intelligence, and advanced smart manufacturing. Among these is the iRC100 controller, developed based on the D-Robotics S100P, which integrates both a small and large brain architecture. This controller adheres to industrial-grade selection and design standards, with a focus on commercialization at scale. It provides a full-stack solution for embodied intelligence, encompassing both hardware and software for comprehensive functionality.

The opening of iMotion's global headquarters is not just a significant milestone for the company, but also a new starting point for building a future powered by "artificial intelligence +" in multiple domains and scenarios.

[Automotive: Toyota Decides To Halt Development Of Certain Models]
Toyota Motor Corporation has decided to halt the development of its next-generation battery electric vehicles, specifically targeting a sedan model for its luxury brand Lexus that was originally planned to commence production in mid-2027. This vehicle, featuring fast-charging capabilities and longer cruising range, was showcased at the Japan Mobility Show in October 2023. Initially planned for market launch in 2026, its production start was later postponed to 2027. Over the past year, Toyota's global electric vehicle sales exceeded 190,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%. However, the decision by the Trump administration in the US to eliminate tax incentives for electric vehicle purchases has created adverse market conditions.
