Recently, the People's Government of Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, officially published the approval announcement for the "Resource Comprehensive Utilization Expansion Project of a Nantong-based Renewable Resources Company." According to the environmental impact assessment details, the core highlights of this expansion include two major components: first, the upgrade of the existing waste flux regeneration line, planning to increase the annual processing capacity from the current 180,000 tons to 210,000 tons; second, the addition of resource utilization capabilities for lithium battery waste, specifically the annual processing of 8,034 tons of ternary lithium battery waste and 70,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate battery waste.

【Waste Lithium Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project in Hegang City】

Recently, Heilongjiang News Network publicly released the detailed environmental impact report and public participation statement for the waste lithium battery recycling project of a Heilongjiang-based metal manufacturing company, marking the project's official entry into the public view and the beginning of its green transformation journey. The project is planned to be implemented in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of an advanced waste lithium battery processing production line, adopting refined processes such as "inspection and storage-dismantling-drying-crushing and sorting-packaging," with an expected annual processing capacity of 6,000 tons, including 5,000 tons of waste ternary lithium batteries and 1,000 tons of waste lithium iron phosphate batteries. The second phase will further expand the scale by adding five production lines focused on the "crushing and sorting-packaging"环节, including three lines for waste positive electrode sheets (from waste ternary lithium batteries) and two lines for waste negative electrode sheets, each with an annual processing capacity of 6,000 tons.

【20,000-Ton Waste Lithium Battery Resource Recycling Project in Lianjiang County】

Recently, the People's Government of Lianjiang County, Fujian Province, published a highly anticipated pre-approval announcement for the waste lithium battery resource recycling project of a Fujian-based materials technology company. The project construction will be carried out in two phases in an orderly manner. The first phase will focus on building a mechanical and physical crushing and sorting workshop for waste lithium batteries, with a designed annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons of waste lithium batteries and electrode sheet waste. The second phase will focus on constructing a battery material wet process production line workshop. Upon full completion, the project is expected to process 20,000 tons of waste lithium batteries and electrode sheet waste annually.

【150,000-Set Comprehensive Utilization Project for Retired Vehicle Power Battery Packs】

Recently, the first public participation notice for the environmental impact assessment of the "Green Dismantling, Energy Saving, Emission Reduction, and Recycling Reuse Project for Vehicle Power Battery Packs" by a Shandong-based low-carbon technology company was prominently released on relevant websites. The project is located in the Jindong Industrial Park, Jinxiang County, Jining City, Shandong Province, with a grand planned capacity. It is expected to green-dismantle and recycle 50,000 sets of retired vehicle power battery packs annually and produce 100,000 sets of cascading utilization products.

【400,000-Ton Waste Power Battery Cascading Utilization Project Lands】

Recently, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Lu'an City, Anhui Province, officially released the acceptance notice for the environmental impact report of the "Battery Cascading Decomposition and Reuse Center Project" of an Anhui-based environmental engineering company. Upon completion, the project is expected to efficiently process up to 400,000 tons of waste power batteries annually.

【15,000 t/a New Energy Power Battery Cascading Utilization Project Lands】

Recently, remarkable news came from the Jiangsu Province Online Investment Project Approval and Supervision Platform: the filing of the "20,000 Vehicles/Year Scrapped Motor Vehicle Dismantling and 15,000 t/a New Energy Power Battery Cascading Utilization Project" by a Jiangsu-based new energy technology company was successfully approved. The project will be implemented in phases. The first phase plans to invest RMB 370 million, covering the 20,000 vehicles/year scrapped motor vehicle dismantling and 15,000 t/a new energy power battery cascading utilization project, while also including the construction of a 2 GW/year energy storage system manufacturing project and a 2 million units/year waste household appliance dismantling and recycling project. The second phase will further increase investment, with an amount of RMB 650 million, for the construction of a 1 million t/a solid waste disposal project.

【2,000-Ton Retired Power Battery Cascading Utilization Project Nearing Operation】

Recently, a Hunan-based new energy technology company completed the acceptance of environmental protection facilities for its power battery cascading utilization and energy storage battery pack project and officially entered the self-publication stage. The project, with a total investment of RMB 50 million, involves the annual cascading utilization of 2,000 tons of retired power batteries, covering various types such as lithium iron phosphate, ternary materials, and lithium manganate, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 energy storage battery cabinets.
