Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 10, BYD announced at an intelligent strategy launch ceremony that all its vehicle models will come equipped with the "God's Eye" (the translation from its Chinese name "Tian Shen Zhi Yan") advanced intelligent driving system. The system will be offered in different versions based on model positioning and price range, covering vehicles from below 100,000 yuan to over 200,000 yuan.

The God's Eye intelligent driving system will be standard on BYD models priced over 100,000 yuan, with most models under 100,000 yuan also featuring the system. This broad implementation ensures a wider consumer base benefits from BYD's intelligent driving technology, enhancing overall driving safety.

The God's Eye system is available in three versions—A, B, and C—each tailored to different technical configurations and functionalities. To be specific, the Version A (DiPilot 600), which features a triple-LiDAR setup, is primarily installed on the YANGWANG-branded models. The Version B (DiPilot 300), equipped with a single LiDAR unit, is mainly applied to DENZA and select BYD models. The Version C (DiPilot 100) is mainly integrated into mainstream BYD-branded models.

This vehicle, featuring fast-charging capabilities and longer cruising range, was showcased at the Japan Mobility Show in October 2023. Initially planned for market launch in 2026, its production start was later postponed to 2027. Over the past year, Toyota's global electric vehicle sales exceeded 190,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%. However, the decision by the Trump administration in the US to eliminate tax incentives for electric vehicle purchases has created adverse market conditions.
