LME Approves Hong Kong as Authorized Delivery Location for Seven Metals

According to the information on the official website of the London Metal Exchange (LME), the LME announced on January 20, 2025, that Hong Kong has been approved as one of its authorized delivery locations. The LME allows the delivery of seven metals in Hong Kong: copper, aluminum, zinc, lead, tin, nickel, and aluminum alloy. Hong Kong will officially commence operations three months after the first warehousing company is approved. Currently, the LME has 11 approved registered warehouses for copper, with a total inventory of 260,150 mt, of which the major warehouses in Asia are located in Kaohsiung, Busan, Gwangyang, and Singapore, with a total inventory of 205,800 mt.
