A few lead-acid battery enterprises, after completing their final battery shipments, began their Chinese New Year break on January 15, becoming the earliest group to start the holiday. Other lead-acid battery producers, considering the return of migrant workers to their hometowns, saw front-end production line workers gradually stop work and take leave, while back-end production lines are also expected to fully stop next week. Therefore, the operating rate of lead-acid battery enterprises turned downward this week. Next week, as more lead-acid battery enterprises enter the Chinese New Year break, the weekly operating rate is expected to decline further.
