Steel Shipments Nationwide Increased by 4% MoM Last Week

SMM reported that the total shipments of steel from ports nationwide reached 7.3571 million mt, up 304,600 mt (4%) MoM. Among them, the total shipments from the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin New Port, Huanghua Port, Jinzhou Port) were 3.0324 million mt, up 502,400 mt, accounting for 41% of the total shipments.

The total shipments from the three major ports in east China (Shanghai Port, Zhangjiagang Port, Lanbei Port) were 598,700 mt, up 44,400 mt, accounting for 8% of the total shipments. The total shipments from the two major ports in south China (Zhanjiang Port, Fangchenggang Port) were 448,100 mt, down 77,400 mt, accounting for 6% of the total shipments.
