**[SMM Daily Hot-Rolled Steel Coil Transactions]** On November 5, the total daily volume of hot-rolled steel coil transactions among sample enterprises in SMM's four cities (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin, and Ningbo) amounted to 14,210 tonnes, a daily decrease of 530 tonnes or -3.6% compared to the previous day.

The futures market oscillated with a slight upward trend but closed lower in late trading. The market trading atmosphere was moderate, with speculative demand coupled with minor restocking by downstream end-users. As such, transactions for hot-rolled steel coils were decent.
