China's Total Steel Shipments from Ports Rose 6% Last Week, Led by Northern Ports

The total steel shipments from ports across China reached 6,548,400 tonnes, according to SMM, with a weekly increase of 355,300 tonnes or 6%. Among them, the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin Xingang Port, Huanghua Port, and Jinzhou Port) dispatched a total of 2,415,500 tonnes, up 129,000 tonnes from the previous week, accounting for 37% of the total shipments.
