The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price stood at 73,805 yuan/tonne, up 160 yuan/tonne from the previous working day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 72,300 to 75,400 yuan/tonne, with an average price of 73,850 yuan/tonne, an increase of 150 yuan/tonne compared to the previous working day. Industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 69,200 to 70,200 yuan/tonne, averaging 69,700 yuan/tonne, up 150 yuan/tonne from the previous working day. The focus of lithium carbonate spot transaction prices rose slightly. Downstream demand for production schedules was relatively optimistic, driving up lithium carbonate consumption. Some downstream material factories had rigid demand for purchases or inventory replenishment. Upstream lithium salt factories mainly maintained their pricing stance. Considering the current cumulative inventory levels of lithium carbonate, it is expected that lithium carbonate spot prices will experience fluctuations within a certain range.
