**SMM Aluminum Spot Afternoon Commentary: Shanghai Aluminum Prices Rise Then Fall; Spot Market Trading Remains Moderate**

According to the latest inventory data from SMM, the decline in domestic aluminum spot inventories slowed down on Monday of this week. In particular, the Gongyi region experienced good arrivals during the week, resulting in an inventory accumulation, mainly consisting of goods from the northwest region of Xinjiang. As of Monday, the social inventory of aluminum ingots in the Gongyi region increased by 15,000 tonnes to 71,000 tonnes compared to last Thursday.
