The Jingxintaomusi Photovoltaic Project for Sand Prevention and Control in Ayou Banner officially commenced, with a planned capacity of 400,000 kilowatts. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Gao Zheng, Secretary of the Banner Committee, and Pan Cunjun, Deputy Chief of the Banner, attended and delivered speeches, with the participation of relevant department heads and business executives.
This project is the first phase of Horizon Mengxin Group's integrated project for sand prevention, sand control, wind power, and photovoltaic power in Alxa League, located in Tamusinbulage Sumu, Ayou Banner. The overall project is planned to be implemented in two phases, with a total designed capacity of 1,145,000 kilowatts. This phase will deploy 400,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic capacity and will be connected to the Aguang II 500kV substation. Simultaneously, a 15% 2-hour electrochemical energy storage facility will be constructed. The static investment for the project is 1.412 billion yuan, and it is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025.
