[Ministry of Water Resources: Promoting the Construction of a Number of Major Water Conservancy Projects]: According to the official WeChat account of China Water Resources, on September 14, Wang Baoen, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, presided over a scheduling consultation meeting to comprehensively strengthen water conservancy infrastructure construction, accelerate the implementation of water conservancy projects funded by additional treasury bonds, promote the implementation and completion of water conservancy investments, and drive the construction of major water conservancy projects to ensure the achievement of annual targets. Wu Wenqing, Chief Planner of the Ministry of Water Resources, participated in the scheduling consultation.

The consultation pointed out that water conservancy departments at all levels have conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, worked with all their might and taken proactive actions to accelerate the construction of water conservancy infrastructure. From January to August this year, the implementation and completion of water conservancy construction investments nationwide have reached another record high, and the commencement of projects has continued to maintain a high intensity, effectively playing a role in stabilizing employment. At the same time, all relevant units should accelerate the implementation progress of additional treasury bond projects, promote the construction of a number of major water conservancy projects, focus on investment implementation and completion, and prepare for next year's project reserve in advance.
