Ningbo Zinc Market: Spot Premiums and Discounts Stable

Mainstream transaction prices for Ningbo 0# zinc were around 24,075-24,225 yuan/mt, with conventional brands quoted at discounts of 35 yuan/mt against the 2407 contract and prices at par with Shanghai spot prices. Mainstream brands in Ningbo quoted against the 2407 contract. In the first trading period, Honglu-v was quoted discounts of 40-50 yuan/mt against the 2407 contract, while Hualian zinc ingots were quoted with premiums of 0 yuan/mt, delivery-to-factory. In the second trading period, traders' quotes remained unchanged from the previous period. Ningbo market traders' quotes were still limited, with spot premiums and discounts relatively stable. Downstream buyers restocked on a need basis at low prices, and spot market transactions showed no significant improvement.
