Today, SMM A00 aluminum prices increased by 640 yuan/mt from the previous working day, reaching 21,710 yuan/mt. Foshan A00 aluminum was reported at 21,600 yuan/mt, up by 630 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Today's aluminum prices hit a new high, while aluminium billet conversion margins plummeted, even showing a discount, and market transactions were sluggish.

Approaching noon, the transaction prices for Φ120 and Φ178 aluminum billet conversion margins in south China were around -70 yuan/mt, and for Φ90 billets, it was -30 yuan/mt, down by 240 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The east China market saw sluggish transactions; approaching noon, the transaction prices for Φ120 aluminum billet conversion margins were around -30 yuan/mt, and for Φ90 small billets, it was 30 yuan/mt, down by 140 yuan/mt from the previous working day. Transactions in Nanchang were moderate, with Φ120 billet conversion margins at -200 yuan/mt and Φ90 billet conversion margins at -150 yuan/mt. In Linyi, Shandong, the weekly average conversion margins for Φ120 aluminum billets were flat from a week ago, around 250 yuan/mt.
