The special action plan for new energy storage in Inner Mongolia from 2024 to 2025 has been issued!】According to SMM, on May 20th, the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Special Action Plan for the Development of New Energy Storage in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 2024 to 2025". The document clearly states that 10GW of new energy storage will be started in 2024, with 6.5GW/29GWh completed and put into operation; in 2025, another 11GW of new energy storage will be started, with 14.5GW/65GWh completed and put into operation.
The total planned construction scale for power source-side energy storage is 14GW/58GWh, which will be connected to 12 500-kilovolt substations; the total planned construction scale for power grid-side energy storage is 7GW/36GWh, which is planned to be connected to 6 500-kilovolt substations.
