Dalian Graphene Valley Carbon Material Industrial New City Project Starts Construction
Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dalian Graphene Valley Carbon Material Industrial New City Project was held in the Songmuidao Chemical Industry Development Zone of Jinpu New Area. The project is jointly invested and constructed by Heilongjiang Graphene Valley Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and Better New Material Group Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project has started with an investment of 6.16 billion yuan to build the Graphene Valley Carbon Material Industrial New City Project, covering an area of 690,000 square meters. The project includes the construction of a production line with an annual output of 1,300 tons of carbon nanotubes, an annual output of 485,000 tons of artificial graphite, and an annual output of 100,000 tons of artificial graphite negative electrode materials. It is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025. In addition, the second phase of the project is actively promoting, with a planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan to build a natural graphite negative electrode project. After the completion and operation of all phases, the annual output value is expected to reach 8.7 billion yuan, with an annual tax revenue of approximately 650 million yuan, providing employment for approximately 2,000 people.
