【The U.S. Department of Energy allocates 366 million US dollars to support the construction of renewable energy in rural and remote areas】On Tuesday, February 27th, local time, the U.S. Department of Energy announced the allocation of 366 million US dollars (approximately 2.634 billion RMB) to promote the adoption of clean energy initiatives, such as deploying solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in rural and remote areas across the country. According to relevant documents, these funds will be allocated to 17 projects, covering photovoltaic power generation, battery energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. SMM has observed that the U.S. government and the Department of Energy have issued multiple special subsidies or investment plans to promote sustainable energy, especially in the battery energy storage and electric vehicle fields since last year.
