Today, the aluminum price difference between Shanghai and Guangdong was 120 yuan/mt, and aluminum billets processing fees were once again divergent. As the Chinese New Year holidays approach, downstream demand continued to weaken and market transactions became sluggish. Near noon, the transaction price of Φ120Φ178 aluminum billets processing fee in south China was around 250 yuan/mt, and the processing fee of Φ90 billet was 320 yuan/mt, up by 10 yuan/mt.
In east China market, market transactions in Wuxi were not ideal. Near noon, the processing fee for Φ120 aluminum billets was 350 yuan/mt, and the processing fee for Φ90 small billets was 430 yuan/mt, down by 20 yuan/mt. The market transaction in Nanchang was subdued, with the processing fee of Φ120 billets being quoted at 280 yuan/mt and the processing fee of Φ90 billets being quoted as 300 yuan/mt. The average processing fee price in Linyi, Shandong Province this week increased by 20 yuan/mt WoW, and the average weekly price of Φ120 aluminum billets was around 290 yuan/mt.
