Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 10, intelligent automotive chip provider Black Sesame Technologies announced a strategic collaboration with global software company LeddarTech to deliver high-performance and cost-effective Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions to both Chinese and global automakers and Tier1 suppliers.
Under the agreement, the duo will leverage Black Sesame Technologies' A1000 autonomous driving chip and LeddarTech's underlying fusion and perception software, LeddarVision LVS-2+. Together, they will offer a solution based on advanced surround-view reuse for the L2 and L2+ ADAS/AD market.
This comprehensive solution includes a high-speed NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) software stack, enabling features up to SAE L2+, encompassing automated lane-changing and parking functions. By maximizing the 5V5R sensor configuration, the need for high-resolution lateral cameras is eliminated, effectively reducing sensor and system costs compared to traditional 11V5R solutions.
Simultaneously, the partners will expand opportunities in the entry-level forward-facing L2/L2+ ADAS/AD market. Leveraging Black Sesame Technologies' A1000L chip and LeddarTech's comprehensive forward-facing fusion and perception software stack LVF-E, this initiative includes a cost-effective sensor configuration, contributing to accumulated experience in global autonomous driving and parking scenarios.
