Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ten Other Departments: Green Building Materials' Annual Revenue to Exceed 300 Billion Yuan by 2026"

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and ten other departments have issued the implementation plan for the high-quality development of the green building materials industry. It proposes that by 2026, the annual operating income of green building materials will exceed 300 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 10% from 2024 to 2026. A total of over 30 distinctive industrial clusters will be cultivated, with the construction of more than 50 demonstration projects for the application of green building materials. The government procurement policy will be implemented in no less than 100 cities, and the number of certification certificates for green building materials products will reach 12,000, further enhancing the ability of green building materials to lead the high-quality development of building materials and ensure the improvement of building quality. By 2030, the level of "energy-saving, emission reduction, low-carbon, safety, convenience, and recyclability" throughout the entire lifecycle of green building materials will be further improved, leading to the formation of a group of internationally renowned green building material production enterprises and product brands.
