Hubei Lithium Treasure: Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Wet Recycling Project Trial Production
On December 13, the 1st phase of the 14 billion yuan Lithium Treasure New Energy Project in Wuxue City officially ignited and underwent trial runs. The annual processing of 200,000 tons of waste lithium battery resources for the recycling and circular economy project is a investment attraction project in Wuxue, covering an area of 120 acres and a total investment of 14 billion yuan, divided into two phases of construction. The first phase has a total investment of 2.65 billion yuan, with an annual production scale of 10,000 tons of crushed lithium iron phosphate waste battery line and a wet recycling and production line for 10,000 tons of battery powder. This project mainly extracts battery-grade lithium carbonate and battery-grade iron phosphate from waste lithium batteries, with an annual production of 8,000 tons of iron phosphate and 2,000 tons of lithium carbonate, and by-products including crude negative graphite powder, waste copper, waste aluminum, and mica powder.
