Shougang Engineering Company plays a 'technical consultant' role to support green and low-carbon production in the steel industry

In recent news, the Energy and Environmental Division of Shougang Engineering Company's Environmental Protection Department has been committed to innovation and focused on the comprehensive process of flue gas treatment in the steel industry, particularly in the key areas of desulfurization and denitrification. They have acted as 'consultants', combining their achievements with market demand and closely following policy guidance. Since the beginning of this year, they have successively undertaken several projects, such as the desulfurization and denitrification project for the Shougang Qinsteel Ball Plant's main induced draft fan, the desulfurization facilities addition project for the heating furnace in the hot rolling department, the denitrification addition project for the power generation units in the Energy Department, and the quality improvement project for environmental protection and dust removal in the hot rolling department, as well as the third-stage dust removal project for the Shougang Shuigang 3×100-ton converter.
