On November 27th, the State Power Investment Corporation's 50MW wind energy storage integrated power generation project's 110kV power boosting station successfully completed its first power transmission. On the 28th, the first unit #8 turbine of the wind power plant successfully connected to the grid and began power generation, and the energy storage system smoothly entered into trial operation.
The project plans to install 10 units of 5.0MW wind turbines, and to construct a 110kV boosting station, which will be connected to the 110kV transmission line of the Gansu Company's 30MW photovoltaic boosting station in Qingshui. This will form a complementary industrial arrangement of wind and solar energy. Additionally, the project will also include a 7.5MW/15MWh energy storage facility, aiming to achieve the advantages of complementary operation between wind power, photovoltaic power, and energy storage, in order to provide continuous, stable, and high-quality green electricity.
