China International Power Battery Recycling Summit(BRS2023) was successfully held on October 26-27 in Shanghai. Organized by ACI Environ (Shanghai Gongjia Information Consulting Co., Ltd.), supported by the Waste Battery Recycling Branch of the China Material Recycling Association, the two-day event featured 23 prominent battery recycling leaders sharing their unique perspectives and the latest innovations and solutions on creating a circular economy for used batteries and help create sustainable supply chains for the future.

China International Power Battery Recycling Summit(BRS2023) was successfully held on October 26-27 in Shanghai. The Summit welcomed over 350 international and regional leaders from government, battery producers, OEMs, recycling companies, universities, and the entire battery recycling chain. Main topics: : Policy trends, market environment, opportunities and challenges of power battery recycling;Difficulties in battery recycling technology and processes, and how recycling enterprises achieve key technological improvements and improve economic benefits;Discussion on environmental protection and safety issues in battery recycling ; Exploration and practice of intelligent technology in battery recycling and utilization; How to leverage each other's strengths to jointly build a better recycling business model and also other related topics. Unlike traditional keynote speeches and presentations, the closed door night talk session places more emphasis on collision of ideas and immediate thinking, adding a lot of color to the conference and allowing attendees to gain more knowledge.

On the second day of BRS2023, Wang Dechuang, Vice President and Secretary General of the Waste Battery Recycling Branch of the China Material Recycling Association, served as the conference chairman. Hoje, os preços à vista de carbonato de lítio grau bateria da SMM recuaram ligeiramente em relação ao dia útil anterior. O contrato de carbonato de lítio 2701 abriu em alta a 156.000 yuans/t hoje, depois operou lateralmente acima da linha de preço médio no início do pregão, atingindo máxima intradiária de 158.000 yuans/t. Por volta do meio-dia, os vendedores intensificaram a pressão de venda, derrubando os preços abruptamente para abaixo da linha de preço médio. À tarde, os preços se consolidaram em tom fraco nas mínimas; apesar de uma breve recuperação, não conseguiram romper a linha de preço médio, atingindo mínima de 149.500 yuans/t. Perto do fechamento, os preços se consolidaram nas mínimas na faixa de 149.800–150.000 yuans, fechando em queda de 3,71% a 149.900 yuans/t, com o open interest caindo 1.517 contratos. Nesta semana, a oferta de carbonato de lítio da China continuou se recuperando, impulsionada principalmente pela conclusão da manutenção e pela retomada gradual da produção em algumas plantas químicas de lítio que utilizam espodumênio, lepidolita e fontes de lagos salgados, enquanto o segmento de reciclagem manteve produção normal. Em termos de transações de mercado e variações de estoque, com o início do mês, as plantas químicas de lítio a montante despacharam sucessivamente os volumes de contratos de longo prazo. Um pequeno número de plantas químicas de lítio mostrou maior disposição para vender pedidos à vista à medida que os preços subiram acima de 160.000 yuans/t nesta semana, levando a uma redução nos estoques. As fábricas de materiais a jusante, apesar do contínuo aumento no consumo, mantiveram estoques basicamente estáveis à medida que os contratos de longo prazo e os materiais fornecidos por clientes foram entregues sucessivamente, e sua disposição para comprar pedidos à vista se fortaleceu gradualmente à medida que os preços caíram abaixo de 155.000 yuans/t. Os traders registraram uma leve redução de estoque, uma vez que as remessas à vista a montante aumentaram ligeiramente e as compras à vista a jusante permaneceram normais.
