On October 26th, the Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanglong Gas-Electric Replacement Project held a groundbreaking ceremony at the Wanglong Thermal Power Plant, marking the official start of the Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanglong Gas-Electric Replacement Project.

It is understood that the project, as a replacement project for the original Wanglong Thermal Power Plant coal-fired units, will build two 460 megawatt gas-steam combined cycle peak-shifting units on the original site, using clean energy natural gas as fuel and adopting international advanced energy-saving and environmental protection technologies. After the project is put into production, the annual power generation will be about 3 billion kilowatt-hours, and the annual output value will be about 1.9 billion yuan after reaching the design capacity.
