The State Administration for Market Regulation holds a symposium on individual industrial and commercial households

On the afternoon of September 11, Luo Wen, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, held a symposium on individual industrial and commercial households in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He rigorously listened to the operating conditions, difficulties, as well as demands and suggestions of business representatives so as to better boost development confidence, solve practical problems, and promote in-depth exchanges on promoting sustainable and high-quality development. The 12 representatives of individual industrial and commercial households who participated in the symposium were from Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Hubei, Guangxi, Anhui, Chongqing, and other places, and their industry sectors cover catering and accommodation, wholesale and retail, resident services, agriculture and breeding, and traditional handicrafts. Both merchants engaged in offline traditional operations and four new economic entities engaged in online e-commerce were invited to attend. The meeting pointed out that in the next step, the Administration will work with relevant departments to strengthen policy supply, publicity, and implementation, solidly promoting system innovations such as precise assisting businesses by classification and upgrading individual businesses to enterprises. By establishing a diversified assistance mechanism, giving full play to the bridging role of individual associations, and strengthening the party-building work of “small individual businesses”, we will create a good environment for sustained and healthy development.
