The overall recovery and development of transport production in July

The Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport today released the China Transport Production Index (CTSI). The data show that the overall transport production in July maintained a recovery trend. July’s CTSI was 187.6 points, up 18.5% year-on-year. By structure, the CTSI freight index was 208.1 points, an increase of 6.7%. The CTSI passenger transport index was 150.6 points, up 71.5% year-on-year. Driven by the strong demand for summer vacation travel, railway, and civil aviation passenger traffic increased significantly.
