According to foreign sources on July 20th, global mining company Anglo American announced on Thursday that its copper production in the first half of the year increased by a remarkable 42% compared to the previous year.
This growth can be attributed to increased production at its mine Quellaveco in Peru. Anglo American's report stated that copper production in the first half of the year rose from 273,400 mt in the same period last year to 387,200 mt.
