China Electricity Consumption Rose In May And First Five Months, National Energy Administration Says

On June 14, the National Energy Administration released data such as the electricity consumption of the whole society in May. Statistics show that in May, the electricity consumption of the whole society was 722.2 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%. The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 87.6 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 8.2%. From January to May, the electricity consumption of the whole society reached 3.53 trillion KWH, up 5.2% year on year.
