The average operating rate of die-casting zinc alloy plants recorded 45.8% last week, a drop of 1.73 percentage points from the week before. In terms of raw material inventory, the rise in zinc prices affected buying interest, and the raw material inventory dropped slightly last week.
The operating rates of large plants were basically stable. However, small and medium-sized enterprises had completed the previous backlog of orders, and new orders decreased due to zinc prices and the traditional off-season. Therefore, operating rates at some plants dropped last week.
Considering the current sluggish performance of terminal consumption, it is expected that operating rates at die-casting zinc alloy enterprises are unlikely to rise this week.
