The 5-year US Treasury yield crashed to its lowest level since August as traders increased their bets on a Fed rate cut in the second half of the year. The 5-year yield once fell by 7 basis points to below 3.23%, and the last time it touched this level was on August 30. The 5-year yield reached its highest point this year at 4.37% on March 8.
