The Securities Daily article pointed out that it is not cost-effective for companies that took high-priced mines to develop now.
But are lithium mines not attractive any more?
The answer is No.
Lithium resources, as an essential element in the production of new energy vehicles, still need to be continuously developed in the long run, and should not be reversed due to downstream price fluctuations.
From a global perspective, the new energy vehicle industry is in good shape for a long time, and the demand for upstream lithium resources in the industrial chain has always been there.
Under the "dual carbon" goal, the future market space of the lithium battery industry chain is still very large.
The supply of lithium resources in my country relies on imports, and it is the world's largest importer of lithium resources. To a certain extent, there is a threat of "stuck neck".
Judging from the control of lithium resources in various countries in recent times, it is generally strengthening.
As the largest country in new energy vehicles, my country must realize independent and controllable lithium resources.
No matter which industry a company is in, it will face the ups and downs of the supply and demand structure. It should invest wherever the market is not.
