SHANGHAI, Apr 21 (SMM) – Wang Chunying, spokesperson of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, said at a press conference today that China's macroeconomic situation is stable.
In the past ten years, China's economy has maintained medium-to-high-speed growth. The rate of return on foreign investment in China is stable and at a relatively high level globally.
We estimate that in the past five years, China's FDI (foreign direct investment) investment rate of return is 9.1%, that of Europe and the United States is about 3%, and that of emerging economies such as Brazil, South Africa, and India is about 4-8%.
It can be clearly seen that the rate of return on foreign direct investment in China is high, she said.
