China to Strengthen Lithium-Ion Battery Industry Standards Guidance and Accelerate Supporting Systems Construction

SHANGHAI, Mar 28 – The relevant person in charge of the Electronic Information Department stated that China's lithium-ion battery industry adheres to supply-side structural reforms, continuously improves the supply capacity of advanced products, and expands downstream applications.

The development of the industry has made great progress.

In the next step, the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen the guidance of industry norms, accelerate the construction of supporting systems, coordinate and promote the high-quality development of the lithium battery industry, and focus on the following tasks.

First, strengthen top-level design; second, promote technological innovation; third, perfect supporting construction.
